A task often requires the collaboration of several people to complete. Each person, after completing his portion of the task, needs to pass it on to the next person designated to work on that task. Problem Tracker can capture your company's workflows, automatically route the tasks to the appropriate individuals, and enforce the processes.
For example, a publicly traded company is required to file several different financial reports with government agencies each year. Different departments contribute to the reports and after they are written, they are reviewed by different individuals and departments, including external accountants and lawyers. (A multi-national company may need to file in all the countries it does business in, and requires the collaboration of its employees from all these different countries.) Producing these reports are complex processes and many companies are already using Problem Tracker to automatically manage these processes.
