The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience in ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript (Ajax and JQuery) and Microsoft SQL. Candidates with a strong understanding of Web Standards will be successful in this role. Must be able to demonstrate good object oriented development and practices, as well as an aptitude to understand new concepts quickly. Must be able to adopt practices prescribed by senior development staff effectively. Introduce alternatives and options to meet project specifications. Must be proficient in ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript (Ajax and JQuery), and Microsoft SQL development. Must have a solid understanding of web technologies. Must be familiar with the Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio IDE platforms. WPF and WCF experience is a plus. Experience with Classic ASP, Cold Fusion, Action Script, and VBScript are all plusses. Especially experience with converting these platforms to .NET technologies. Previous experience in all phases of application software development/maintenance life cycles in an enterprise client/server and/or web-based environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Must be able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical parties. Experience with mobile site design is a plus.
